The Jai Josefs Quartet
The Jai Josefs Quartet is a Marin-based band that plays “Jazzy Rock and Rockin’ Jazz.” Collectively, the members bring over 100 years of professional experience, including work with artists such as Chris Isaak and José Feliciano.
The band delivers fresh, creative arrangements of tunes by artists like Sting, Steely Dan, George Benson, and Van Morrison, along with cool originals by Jai, whose songs have appeared in more than 75 feature films and TV shows.
Equally at home in intimate and high-energy settings, the band can provide tasteful dinner-set jazz – featuring standards and selections by Herbie Mann, Chick Corea, and Michael Bublé – or uptempo vocal rock and dance sets drawing from Santana, the Eagles, the Grateful Dead, Stevie Wonder, etc. Their repertoire also includes inventive genre twists, such as swing-jazz Rolling Stones and bossa nova Bob Dylan.
The Jai Josefs Quartet is amazing! We often have community celebrations at our center, and the Quartet has played both cool quiet music during our dinners and lively dance music afterwards. Everyone always loves it all!
